Veal kidneys with mushrooms

1/4 cup Canola oil

1 large onion, sliced

1.25 lb veal Kidneys

1 cup mushrooms, sliced

1 tsp turmeric

pinch of salt and paprika, to taste

2 Tbsp tomato paste

2 Tbsp lemon Juice

1/3 cups vinegar

2/3 cups water


1. Heat oil in a frying pan.

2. Add onion. Cook, until soften.

3. Add mushrooms, turmeric and salt and paprika. Mix well.

4. Add kidney and stir well, cook for 8-10 minutes. Cook until you see no pink.

5. Next, add lemon juice, 1/2 cup water and tomato paste to the mixture and stir until well mixed for about 5 minutes. Serve with rice and enjoy.
