Swedish Meatballs

Cook the best Swedish Meatballs in amazing creamy sauce. I make these meatballs for my family and they absolutely love it every time! It’s pretty quick and easy to make. 

Swedish Meatballs

Cuisine: Sweden

Prep Time 10 minutes
Total Time 20 minutes

Ingredients

1½ lb Meat:-beef, veal or pork, finely grounded

2 eggs

1 cup Bread crumbs

3 Tbs Olive Oil

1/4 cup Onions, finely chopped

3 Tbs Parsley, chopped

1 tsp Salt

1/2 tsp Paprika

1/2 tsp Lemon Peel

1 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce

1/2 tsp Allspice

3 cups Stock

1 Tbs Sherry

Instructions

1. Sauté onions until golden in 1 tablespoon of oil

2. Mix all ingredients except stock and butter.

3. Shape mixture into 1 inch balls

4. Brown in remaining oil

5. Simmer closely covered for about 15 minutes in stock

6. Make gravy

7. Reheat the meat balls in the gravy

8. Serve in chafing dish with toothpicks
